Tony Accardo rose in the ranks from common street thug to becoming the boss of Capone's organization called The Outfit. Accardo has been arrested numerous times for crimes but never spent one day in jail and died of natural causes in 1992.

Camp Sumter at Andersonville
Camp Sumter, or as it is known today as Andersonville prison, was one of the worst atrocities of the Civil War. By the end of the Civil War, the 10,000 man prison held 45,000 Union prisoners.
