I Don't Like Mondays
Brenda Spencer was sixteen years old when she opened fire with a .22 caliber rifle from her house across the street from the school where the children were waiting to get in. The song "I Don't Like Mondays" by the Boomtown Rats was inspired by her explanation for shooting the kids.
